Bio
Evelyn A. Vrba, 91, of Bellmead, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at a local nursing home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Timothy Vavarek officiating. Burial will be at St. Martin Cemetery in Tours . Evelyn was born March 23, 1919, in Tours , to Tony and Amelia Uptmore. She married Alphonse Vrba, May 23, 1947, in Tucson , Ariz. , and he preceded her in death April 20, 1983. She was a long time member of at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by three sisters. Survivors include her niece, Doris Ferrill of Lacy Lakeview; great-nephew, Eric Vrba and wife, Cathy, of China Spring; great-great-nephew, Zachary Vrba of China Spring; and many other nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Michael Smith, Will Vrba, James Holverson, Johnny Siepert, David Trull and Hunter Robertson. The family would like to express a special thank you to Doris Ferrill, Lake Shore Village and Dr. Timothy Schiller, for all the care and support.
