Galesburg Register Mail - Galesburg, Illinois Tuesday 8 September 1953 - Page 18 MRS. JOSEPH M. THOMAS Mrs. Joseph M. Thomas, 64, of 1134 Lyman St., died Monday at 9:45 p.m. in St. Mary's Hospital. Mrs. Thomas was born in Abingdon Feb. 27, 1889, and resided 24 years in that city, where her marriage took place March 12, 1912. She had also resided in Chicago eight years and in Galesburg 31 years. She was a member of the Methodist faith. Surviving are the husband; two sons, Herbert of Chicago and Henry of San Francisco, Calif.; a brother, Earl Miner, of Rural Route, Abingdon, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Kimber and West Chapel, where friends may call Wednesday evening.
