Obituary - The Daily Review, Monmouth, Illinois - Monday, 7 October 1918- P age 4, Column 4 JESSE C. MINER Galesburg Rep.-Reg.: Jesse C. Miner, 1374 Monmouth Boulevard, passed away yesterday at his home at 4:30 Thursday afternoon. He had been sick for the last eleven years and had been confined to bed since May. Jesse C. Miner was born January 16, 1867, near Cameron, Illinois. He lived in Warren County until three years ago whe he moved to this city. He was married at Cameron to Miss Rebecca Pritchard, October 31, 1888, and to this union two children were born. Mr. Miner followed farming as a life vocation until forced to give it up on account of bad health. He was a member of the Cameron Lodge No. 786 of the Odd Fellows. Mr. Miner was a home loving man, a good husband and a kind father. He has a host of friends who wil be grieved to hear of his death. He leaves to mourn his loss, his widow and two children; Florence Jessie at home, and George C., of near Cameron. He also leaves one brother, Frank of Cameron, one sister, Mrs. Edith Walker of Abingdon, one half brother, Earl Miner of Abingdon, one half sister, Mrs. Nora Thomas of this city, and one grandchild, Margaret Jane Miner of Cameron. Funeral services were held from the residence at two o'clock Sunday afternoon. This obituary courtesy of Richard S.
