The Nebraska Signal March 1940 Albert E. Ogg, former Geneva resident, died suddenly at Lincoln at 7:40 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 1940, aged sixty-three. Mr. Ogg, who had been employed more than twenty years by the Lincoln traction co. had just gone into the office to make out his report following a bus run. Death was attributed to a heart attack. when Mr. Ogg went into the Traction Co. office about 7:35, he complained of a pain in his chest and arm. He sat on a bench at a table to make out his report. In three or four minutes, Ogg slumped down on the bench gasping for breath. An ambulance and Dr. George H. Walker were called, but Ogg died before aid reached him. Mr. Ogg was married in Geneva November 5, 1901 to Miss Mabel Spivey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Spivey, Geneva pioneers. they moved from here to Lincoln in 1918. Besides his wife, the deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George R. Deffenbaugh, and a son, Charles, all of Lincoln, and a brother, Earl W. Ogg, of Blackwell, Okla. A brother, Curt Ogg, and two sisters Mrs. Ella Benton and Mrs. Lizzie McCashland, preceded him in death, as did his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Ogg. The funeral was held at Lincoln at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. Russell Blythewood officiating. Interment was in Wyuka Cemetery at Lincoln.
