McMillen, Jr., 74, of Winnie, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at the Arboretum Nursing Home in Winnie. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2007, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial following at Liberty Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with rosary services at 7 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stencil Funeral Home in Dayton. Dewey was born September 23, 1932 in Raywood, to parents; Dewey A. McMillen, Sr. and Blanch Janise, a former resident of Liberty, and has resided in the Winnie area for the past four years. He was a graduate of the Liberty High school, a retired tool pusher for Stanley Well Services after 28 years of employment, and enjoyed hunting. Mr. McMillen was preceded in death by his parents, son: Alfred L. McMillen, and daughter-in-law: Andle McMillen. He is survived by his wife: Doris McMillen of Winnie, sons: Ervin E. McMillen and wife Maria of Winnie and Dewey A. McMillen, III of Huntsville, daughters: Leona B. Hall and husband John of Friendswood, Marie Mahmood and husband Max of Friendswood, and Rose Anna McMillen of Huntsville, sisters: Lillie Blanch Kersh, Martha J. Schroeder and husband Ernie, Mary Dinker, Bertha T. Theriot and husband Harry, and Josephine Smesny and husband Jerry, brothers: Francis McMillen, Jacques McMillen and wife Rose, John A. McMillen and wife Margaret, and Joseph McMillen and wife Judy, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
