Bertha Evelina McMillen Theriot passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the age of 79. She was born August 12, 1942, in Liberty, Texas, to Alexander McMillen, Sr., and Blanche Jannise McMillen. She married the love of her life Harry S. Theriot on October 5, 1968 Bertha is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Alexander McMillen, Sr., and Blanche Jannise McMillen, her husband of 44 years, Harry S. Theriot, and her siblings; Dewey Alexander McMillen, Jr., Lily Blanch McMillen Kersh, Martha Jeanne McMillen Schroeder, John Andrew McMillen, and Mary Helena McMillen Denker. A celebration of life begins with visitation at 10:30 am with a memorial service at 11 am, followed by a luncheon at 12:30 pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft St., Houston, TX 77096. Fr. Clark Sample will officiate services. There is also a graveside service at 4 pm.
