Bio

Mary Helena Denker, 83, went to her heavenly home on January 23, 2020 in Willis, Texas. She was born and raised in Liberty, Texas to parents Blanche Jannise and Dewey Alexander McMillen, Sr. on March 25, 1936. Mary worked at the bank across the street from the local Methodist Church in Liberty, which lead her to meeting her future husband, Robert Denker. They were happily married for 53 years, before Robert’s passing in 2016. Eventually the Denker’s moved to Channelview, Texas and resided there for 41 years. Mary was also a faithful member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Denker; son, Patrick Denker; and siblings, Lilly Blanch (Mcmillen) Kersh, Martha Jeanne (McMillen) Schroeder, Dewey Alexander McMillen, Jr. , John Andrew McMillen, Mary Helena (McMillen) Denker . She is lovingly survived by her sons, Paul E. Denker, Mark C. Denker and wife Andrea; grandchildren, Wayne Denker, Gabrielle Denker, Foster Denker, Mason Denker, Emily Denker; and siblings, Jacques J McMillen and wife Rose, Francis Charles McMillen, Bertha M. Theriot, Josephine Smesny, and Joseph Augustine McMillen and wife Judy. The family invites you to join them for a visitation on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services officiated by Father Andy Dinh Vu, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Graveside services are to follow at 11:30 A.M. at Liberty Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Conley Funeral Home, where Mary will be laid to rest with her husband. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in memory of Mary.
