James W. Hoyt Dies at Fairfield Thursday, July 22 James w. Hoyt, 77, died early Thursday morning at the Powers Convalescent Home in Fairfield. He had been a resident of that community for the past 58 years. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the McLaughlin Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Nye O. Bond of the Clay Center Methodist church (sic) officiating. Burial was made in the Clay Center cemetery (sic). Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Della Fate and Mrs. Bertha Von Spreckelson of Clay Center, Mrs. Priscilla Wood of Hillsboro, Oregon, Mrs. Sarah Denny of Southerlin, Oregon, Mrs. Eva McNisch of Greenwood, and Mrs. Linda Richardson of Norton, Kansas; two sons, H. J. Hoyt of Clay Center and Walter Hoyt of Hastings; and two brothers, W. G. Hoyt of Fairfield and E. O. Hoyt of Los Angeles, California. His wife Mrs. Sarah E.
