"Daily Sentinel", Mesa News dated March 31, 1927: H. W. Hoyt, passed away at Craig home early Wednesday Morning. He had been ill for sometime. The funeral was held at the M.E. Church Thursday afternoon, the Masons having charge of the funeral. Rev. Shields acted as Chaplain. Interment was made in the Mesa cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss three Step-daughters-- Mrs. A. R. Craig, Mrs. John McNelly and Mrs. Chas. Brooke.
