From "The Southwest Wave", Los Angeles, California dated Thursday, Friday, Feb. 3, 1949, Page 18: Hold Funeral Rites For Elmer O. Hoyt Rites for Elmer O. Hoyt, 71, 247 East Fifty-ninth place, were held from Utter-McKinleys' Broadway chapel. Interment was in Inglewood Park cemetery. Born in Iowa, Hoyt had lived here for 30 years and was a member of the Fremont Baptist church. Surviving are his wife, Carrie; daughter, Anna Tullos; sons, Alfred, Oscar, and Robert Lund; and brother, William Hoyt. ----------------------- Elmer Otho Hoyt 1st married Lou Ethel (Houck) Hoyt Byrnes 3 daughters: Amanda Viola (Hoyt) Hastings Eva Martha (Hoyt) Kershaw Bennett Marie Emma (Hoyt) Severs Sharpe Pollack Ostella 2nd married Carrie (Dubois) Lund Hoyt Step-children: Alfred T.
