HITCHCOCK--Pete Hitchcock of Magnolia Beach who had been living for some months at the Point Clear Hotel with the Wagners, died there Tuesday afternoon. His remains were taken to Mobile for burial. Published in THE FAIRHOPE COURIER, Fairhope, Alabama, December 15, 1932, p.6 HITCHCOCK--Harry Hitchcock, a native of Mobile and a resident of Eastern Shore for the past year, died at the residence, Eastern Shore, Tuesday afternoon at 5 p.m. He is survived by two brothers, Joe Mangold and George Hitchcock of Mobile; five sisters, Mrs. George Wagner of Point Clear, Ala., Mrs. A.M. Sutton of Mobile, Mrs. Fred Smith, Mrs. Richard Simpkins of Mobile, and Miss Catharine Hitchcock of New Orleans; several nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted from Higgins mortuary, Thursday morning at an hour to be announced later. Interment will be in Magnolia cemetery.
