BURNS ARE FATAL TO FAIRHOPE MAN Joe Mangold, 67, Succumbs In Baldwin Hospital Fairhope--a 67 year old city employe, JOE MANGOLD, died at the Bay View Infirmary here Monday afternoon from burns suffered in an accident at a warehouse behind the city hall earlier in the day. A warehouse and clean-up man, Mangold was believed to have been building a fire in the warehouse using gasoline when his clothes caught on fire. Howe, with the aid of others, put out the fire and sent Mangold to the hospital. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Joseph J. Cook, Mobile; Mrs. George Waganer, Fairhope, and Miss Katherine Hitchcock, New Orleans; a brother, George Hitchcock, Robertsdale, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
