Bio

Alva Linden was born October 23, 1915, to Frank and Nora (Bender) Linden in Buffalo County. He attended school at Plainview School in Buffalo County. He married Sadie Faye Ward on April 12, 1938, in Kearney, Nebraska. The couple farmed in the Litchfield area until 1972, when they moved to Grand Island, Nebraska. They had six children: Darlene Wilkinson, Wilma Trotter, Delbert Linden, Asher Linden, LaVonne Cordes, and Stanley Linden.
