Bio
Berniece Hansen, 69, of Litchfield died Tuesday, February 19, 1991, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Litchfield Christian Church with the Rev. Dan Nietfeld officiating. Burial will be at Litchfield Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Rasmussen Mortuary in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hansen was born January 20, 1922, to Frank and Nora (Bender) Linden in Buffalo County. She grew up and was educated in rural Buffalo County. She married Fred Hansen on January 2, 1940, in Kearney. She and her husband made their home on a farm near Litchfield. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ravenna. Survivors include her husband; sons, Jim, Alliance, Earl Hansen, Broken Bow, and Jerry, Kearney; daughter Betty Mittelstedt, Washburn, North Dakota; brothers, Harold Linden, Litchfield, Frankie Linden, Pleasanton, and Alvie Linden, Grand Island; sister, Ruby Smith, Litchfield; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
