Bio

Arthur Noel Goates was the son of William Riley Goates, Jr. and Elsie Mollie Poteet. He married Marga Dean Gilmore on May 22, 1948 in Waco, McLennan, Texas. After she died in 1973, Arthur remarried to Alpha Geneva Sapp on July 14, 1973 in Bosque, Texas. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
