Private graveside service for Albert B. Smith, 84, of Gilbert was held 4:00 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at Epps Cemetery in Epps, LA with Rev. Don Thornton officiating. Arrangements were conducting by Gill First National Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Smith, a native of Ouachita Parish was born to James and Effie Minton Smith on Oct 12, 1921. He passed from this life on Monday, October 24, 2005 in Plantation Manor Nursing Home in Winnsboro. He was a retired United States Army veteran. He is survived by his wife Heroise Smith of Gilbert; two sons James Albert Smith of Epps and Rodger Smith of St. Francisville, LA; and two daughters Wanda Baum of Gilbert and Linda Rae Robinson of DeVille, LA.
