Crystal Speir Price GILMER - Services for Crystal Speir Price, 88, of Shreveport, La., will be 2 p.m. today at the Croley Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Price died July 12 at a Shreveport hospital [sic] after a long illness. Born in Georgia on Aug 2, 1894, Mrs. Price was a retired schoolteacher. She was a member of the Rosewood Baptist Church in Upshur County and a member of the Eastern Star. She had lived in Shreveport since 1958. Survivors include her daughter, Pauline Smith, and son-in-law Ivan I. Smith, both of Shreveport; sister, Cathrine Rebecca Oliver of Dallas; grandchildren, Malba Anthony, Sharon Mabus and Ivan Smith Jr., all of Shreveport, nine great-grandchildren [sic]; and two nieces and two nephews.
