Mrs. Annie Mitchell GILMER - Services for Mrs. Annie Mitchell, Gilmer, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Croley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. C.D. Speed and the Rev. Homer Petty officiating. Interment will be in the Morris Cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell died Monday morning at the Gilmer Convalescent Center following an extended illness. She was a native of Georgia, but a resident of Upshur County most of her life, and was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by two brothers, John Speir ad [sic] the Rev. El Speir, both of Gilmer; three sisters, Miss Addie Speir of Gilmer, Mrs. Crystal Price Shreveport, and Mrs. Callie Olive Dallas.
