Miss Speir GILMER - Services for Miss Addie Speir, 93, Shreveport, La., formerly of Gilmer, are set for 2 p.m.. Tuesday in Croley Funeral Home chapel in Gilmer with the Rev. J.C. Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Morris Cemetery near Gilmer. Miss Speir died Sunday in a Shreveport hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 24, 1886, in Fairburn, Ga., was a former resident of Upshur County and lived in Shreveport the past 10 years. She was a member of Glade Creek Baptist Church and had been a member for over 70 years. Survivors include a brother, J.W. (John) Speir of Gilmer; two sisters, Mrs. Crystal Price of Shreveport and Mrs. Rebecca Oliver of Dallas.
