Florine (Chumley) Gordon, age 74, passed away in her home January 9, 2022, in Grant, OK after a year long battle with her second bought of cancer. Florine received care from her devoted daughter Jennifer and her nieces Tammy Cloud and Nita Kindle. Florine was born in Farmers Branch, TX on June, 18, 1947 to Daniel and Mable (Chastain) Chumley. Florine married Jimmie T. Gordon on September 16, 1967. They settled in Grant, OK to raise their only child Jennifer Gordon. Florine was a devoted wife and mother and an avid seeker of knowledge. Reading over 400 words per minute Florine was a wealth of information and a wiz at Jeopardy. Florine's life passion was to help others, serving her community as a Social Worker, Substance Abuse Counselor and Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist. She was loved by all who knew her. She attended Connors State College at the age of 43 graduating with honors and her Associates Degree. Then continued on to earn her Bachelors of Social Work from East Central University in 1998. Graduating alongside her beloved daughter Jennifer was one of Florine's proudest moments. Florine was a truly joyful person and delighted in sharing her knowledge with anyone that wanted to learn. Florine was survived by her daughter Jennifer Gordon, brother Don Chumley, sister Juanita Little and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Mable Chumley and Daniel Chumley, siblings Daniel Chumley, Reba Berryhill, Troy Chumley, Jean McBride, Chock Miller, Donie Tom, Fern Bomer and Pete Chumley,
