Bio
Naoma "Fern" Bomer, 74, of Independence, Mo., passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 due to non-small cell Adenocarcinoma, a form of lung cancer. Fern was surrounded by her love ones in the comfort of her own home and per her request there will be no funeral or graveside services. Fern was born on October 11, 1943 in Dallas, TX. At the age of 20, she married the love of her life, Jim Bomer in Lubbock, TX. Over the years they had three beautiful children and traveled to many places. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from her, the most important one being "LOVE!" She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters. Surviving are her husband Jim, Three Children Lynn (Dwayne) , LaRene (Chris) and Jim (Aprile); Nine Grandchildren, Christy (Mike), Cassie (Tony), Alex, Lauren (Zac), Hayden, Connor, Hailey, Quinton, and Ciera; Six Great Grandchildren, Gabrielle, Vincent, Ayden, Jax, Elara and Maverick.
