Nola A. Borden GILMER - Services for Nola A. Borden, 96, of Gilmer will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Drye officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Mrs. Borden died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, in Longview. She was born Nov. 4, 1902, in the Latch community and was a lifetime resident. She was a member of the Latch Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She married Claude F. Borden May 18, 1919, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude F. Borden in 1955. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Virginia Wallace of Gilmer and Vivian and Stanley Davis of Texarkana; five grandchildren and spouses, Phillip and Bobbie Maywald, Patricia and Jimmie Arnold, Mike and Ann Wallace, Grace and Ron Drye, and Johnny and Alice Davis; two sisters, Mayvon Harris of Latch, and Wilma Dee Russell of Crockett; 16 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
