Bio

Funeral for Lethie Schrimsher, 84, of Athens, will be today at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bottoms Cemetery. Mrs. Schrimsher died Friday at the Madison Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the West Highland Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons, Carl Schrimsher and Billy Schrimsher, both of Decatur, Ralph Schrimsher of Huntsville and Phillip Schrimsher of Elkmont; two daughters, Ruth Dement of Athens and Ruby Edge of Madison; one brother, Nelson George of Athens; and 21 grandchildren.
