Nelson George, 96 of Athens, died Saturday at his residence. Services will be 10AM Monday at Spry Funeral Home, Chapel with Stephen Russell and John Gibson officiating, burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, with Military Honors, visitation is from 1-4PM Sunday at Spry Funeral Home. Mr. George was born April 4, 1919 in Limestone County, he was a member of Pepper Road Church of Christ, a retired Carpenter/Farmer and a World War II Army Veteran.
