Emery Lind Freestone, 82, 2221 Arbor Lane, died Feb. 3, 1973 in a local hospital of natural causes. Born Aug. 30, 1890, Vernal, to George and Jennie Lind Freestone. Married Ida Crouse, Feb. 21, 1928, Vernal; later divorced. Survivors: sons, daughters, Melvin, Fontana, Calif.; Harold Dan, Dugway, Utah; Mrs. Bernard (Dorothy) Roper, Boulder, Colo.; Mrs. Herb (Lois Rae) Harness, Hot Springs, Ark.; Ernest L., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Jerry (Doris) Nielsen, Dallas E., both Orem; 28 grandchildren; brothers, Charles R., Rubin T., Clarence F., all Vernal, Utah. Funeral Thursday 11 a.m. 4330 S Redwood, where friends call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour before services. Burial, Valley View Memorial Park. Published Wednesday, 7 Feb 1973 on page 23, column 7 in the Salt Lake Tribune (Salt Lake City, Utah). Obituary included a photograph.
