Bio
Lois R. Harness of Hot Springs, died Sunday, February 6, 2011. She was 76 years old, born September 18, 1934 in Vernal, Utah, the daughter of the late Emery and Ida (Crouse) Freestone. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had worked as a waitress and as a Wal-Mart greeter. Lois is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Carl Dow; second husband Herbert Harness; two brothers; she is survived by her sons, Ron Dow, of Orem, Utah; Brent Dow of Cedar Hills, Utah; daughters, Teresa Harness, of Hot Springs; Tonya Speers and Densel of Jessieville; and Angie Price and Steven of Hot Springs; brothers Dallas Freestone and Anne of Orem, Utah; Ernest Freestone and Pam of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Dorothy Roper of Orem, Utah; Doris Nielson of Spanish Fork, Utah; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Oscar Devaux officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery. Arrangements under direction of Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Austin Price, Daniel Harness,Bob Gibbs, Joshua Kincannon, Jonathan Cook, Heath Truex. Honorary pallbearers include: Bishop Charles Beyers, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Sanints.
