Harold Don Freestone died December 11, 1995 in Salt Lake City. He was born August 23, 1929 in Vernal, Utah to Emory and Ida Crouse Freestone. He married LaRue Lewis on August 21, 1953. She passed away on June 20, 1972. He married Mae Johnson on October 23, 1982. Harold lived in Dugway, Utah with his wife LaRue for many years, where he was employed. He retired in 1978, and moved to Tooele. He loved gardening, fishing, and his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Mae, Tooele; three sons and one daughter, Steven Lewis Freestone of Sandy; Ralph Harold Freestone, Magna; Douglas Paul Freestone, Bellview, Idaho; and Rinda Kay Eberley, Portland, Oregon; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Ida Crouse Freestone, Provo; three brothers and two sisters; Melvin Freestone of California; Ernest Freestone, West Valley City; Dallas Freestone, Orem; Lois Harness of Arkansas; and Doris Nielsen, Provo. Family and friends may gather for a graveside service on Wednesday, December 13, 1995, 2 p.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 400 So. 400 East, Spanish fork, services under the direction of Berg Mortuary of Provo.
