A. M. Maughan's Mother Dies at Logan Friday Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Maughan were in Logan Monday to attend funeral services for Mr. Maughan's mother, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Maughan, who dies at her home in Logan Friday morning. Mrs. Maughan was born at Alpine, Utah August 24, 1865, a daughter of George and Alice Carlisle Freetone. She has lived in Logan about 17 years. She was an active church worker and had served in the primary, Sunday school and Relief society. Besides her husband, Harrison D. Maughan and her son A. M. Maughan of Richfield, she is survived by the following children: Dr. G. H. Maughan, Ithaca, N. Y., J. R. Maughan, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho; Mrs. Edna Casperon, Banadia, Idaho; J. Howard and Hyrum C. Maughan, Logan; Mrs. L. C. Belliston, Nephi, and Lieut. E. F. Maughan, San Francisco; 36 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. Published in the Richfield Reaper | 1936-07-09
