She was the daughter of Omar and Carlie Plemmons Strickland. She was married to Samuel Robert "Bob" Ragland Jr. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Carlie Bernice Strickland married Bob Ragland on 25 October 1942 in Graham, Texas. He preceded her in death. Bernice Ragland, 76, was a member of Medlan Chapel Baptist Church, the VFW Auxiliary. She was a homemaker. Survived by two daughters - Carlita Pemberton and Linda Gill; one son - Lanny Ragland; one sister -Rachel Robertson; two brothers - Herman Strickland and Orville Strickland; five grandchildren; one great-grandson.
