Bio
Daughter of Henry Herman Vieth (1868-1929) and Theresa Flies Vieth (1874-1985) born in Muenster, Texas to a family of at least 14 siblings. By 1917 the family moved to Scotland, Texas. Mary Vieth married Ervin Robertson on 10 August 1929 in Wichita Falls, Texas. They lived near Vashti, Texas. Ervin passed away suddenly at age 69 on 23 January 1970 and Mary moved back to Scotland, Texas near her relatives. She passed away in a Wichita Falls nursing home on 20 November 1991. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Survivors at the time of her death, include six sisters, Frances Hilbers of Scotland, Ann Walsh of Archer City, Agnes Schneider of Windthorst, Texas, Angeline Prescher of Lexington, Oklahoma and Theresa Edler and Bertha Edler, both of Chanute, Oklahoma; and four brothers, Frank Vieth and Henry Vieth, both of Scotland, John Vieth of Lexington and Joe Vieth of Woodward, Oklahoma. Pallbearers were Charles Vieth, Bill Vieth, James Edler, Leon Edler, Art Hemmi and Leon Schneider. SOURCE: Archer County News, 28 November 1991.
