Times Record News Jan 31, 2010 WINDTHORST — Agnes C. Schneider, age 91, of Windthorst, Texas, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010, in Wichita Falls. A rosary and visitation will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Aulds Funeral Home in Archer City. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2010, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. David Kraeger officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home. Agnes was born January 26, 1919, in Scotland, Texas, to Henry H. and Theresia Flies Vieth. She and Joseph William Schneider were married September 10, 1947, in Scotland, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1975. She was a resident of Scotland while she was young and moved to Windthorst in 1947. Agnes was self-employed in the dairy and cattle business for ten years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Agnes loved gardening, dancing and going to jamborees. Survivors include one son, Leon J. Schneider and wife, Melinda of Windthorst; one daughter, Norma J. Wood and husband, Ardie of Windthorst; four grandchildren, Ryan Schneider and wife, Sandi, Kyle Schneider and wife, Kristen of Fort Worth, Texas, Kay Wood Musser and husband, Allen of Ada, Oklahoma, and Matthew Wood of Wichita Falls; and two great-grandson, Dalton Musser of Ada and Collin Halady of Wichita Falls. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Hemmi, Kyle Schneider, Ryan Schneider, Bill Vieth, James Vieth, Jr. and Matt Wood. The family suggests memorials to St. Mary's Catholic Church or St. Mary's Building Fund, P.O. Box 230, Windthorst, Texas, 76389.
