His parents were Herman and Teresa Files Vieth. Henry J. Vieth, 96, of Scotland died Thursday, May 6, 1993, in a Wichita Falls hospital. Prayer services were 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Services were 10 a.m. Monday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Scotland with the Rev. Christopher Davis, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Windthorst, officiating. Burial was in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Vieth was born November 21, 1896 in Willie, Iowa. He was a longtime Scotland resident and a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a former member of Knights of Columbus.
