Bio

Bernard passed away on November 14, 2015. He was born in Colorado. He left home and joined the U.S. Navy at the outbreak of World War II. In 1943, he met the love of his life, Jean Bowen at a dance at Natatorium Park. They married in 1945. They celebrated 70 years of marriage this spring. He worked for U.R.M. for 32 years. He is survived by his wife, Jean; his children and their spouses: Lynn (Bob) and Linda (Floyd). He also leaves 3 granddaughters and 3 great-granddaughters and a special daughter, Sharon. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Thornhill Valley Chapel, Spokane Valley, WA. (Obituary from Thornhill Valley Chapel, Spokane, Valley, WA).
