Bio
L.E. Wellman, 81 of Kirbyville, Texas passed from this world on December 10, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Kirbyville Cemetery. He was born on March 13, 1942 in Glenmora, Louisiana to Willie C. and Frances Emmaline Bedgood Wellman. He lived until the time of his death in Kirbyville, Texas. He was a retired lineman with the City of Kirbyville Light and Power Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Coral Poe, Laura Monk, Mertie Welch, Bernice Lukasik, Avis Carruth and Effie Franklin, his brothers, Riley, Bertie, Slim, Herman, Morgan; and his brother , Infant Son Wellman. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dianna Burran Wellman, his children, Lisa Wellman, Lee Wellman and wife Wanda, and Leslie Wellman: his grandchildren, Devan Slaten, Macy Brown and husband Preston, Brandon Wellman and wife Makayla, his great grandchildren, Addi, Emma, Xander, Teagan, Kane and one on the way, Tucker Reid, and many family and friends. Our deepest thanks and prayers for those from Olive Branch Hospice for the love and care of our loved one. Many thanks to all those who loved and supported our family at this time of illness and following his death. Please continue to lift our family up to the Lord as we travel this new highway of heartbreak and sadness. We may not be able to be with him on this earth again but we can make sure our trust and faith are in Jesus so we can meet him again in Heaven ~
