Crystel Shaw Watts February 16, 1932 - August 1, 2021 Funeral services for Crystel Shaw Watts, 89, of Gilmer, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at McWhorter Funeral Home with Bro. Randal Hodges officiating. Interment to follow at Morris Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 9:00 am prior to the service. Crystel was born February 16, 1932, in Upshur County, Texas to James Luther and Clara Etta Berry Shaw and passed from this life August 1, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jerry Lynn Hunter, Billie Darlene Barber, and Chris Lydell Hunter; sisters, Tyjuana Scribner, LaRue Adams, and RueNell Grounds; grandchildren, James David Barber, Jared Lance Hunter, Jason Glenn Barber, Jamie Leslie Warren, Joseph Robert Hunter, Eric Kyle Hunter, Brandi Carol Woods, and Jessica Darlene Barber; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, James Lyndell Hunter, Paul Stolle, Clyde Roberts, and Kenneth Watts; her children, James Roy Hunter, Linda Carol Hunter, Kim Hunter, and Joe Bob Hunter; brother, Burl D. Shaw; twin brother, J. L. Shaw; grandson, Casey Jo Hunter; and great grandson, Carson Glenn Barber. Pallbearers are David Barber, Jared Hunter, Jason Barber, Joseph Hunter, Eric Hunter, and Hunter Weaver.
