Kenneth Alvin Watts September 19, 1938 — March 25, 2019 Funeral service for Mr. Kenneth Alvin Watts, 80, of Gilmer, TX will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Othell LaFerney and Bro. Lawton Watts officiating, interment to follow at Morris Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Watts passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 in Longview. Kenneth was born on September 19, 1938, in Marvell, AR to the late Alvin and Ester (Fannin) Watts. He was a roll mill operator at Letourneau for many years. Mr. Watts also proudly served his county in the United States Army and is of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Watts is survived by his wife, Crystel Watts of Gilmer; sons, Kenneth Watts, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Ore City, Jerry Hunter and his wife, Marsha of Gilmer, Chris Hunter of Gilmer; daughters, Sherry King and her husband, Mike of Holly Lake Ranch, Sharon Terrier of Gilmer, Shelia Smith of Marshall, Shellie Champion and her husband, Ricky of West Mountain, Darlene Barber and her husband, James of Gilmer; brothers, Lawton Watts of Gilmer, Loyd Watts of Gilmer, Alvin Watts, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Wynne, AR, Bruce Watts and his wife, Joyce of Gilmer; sister, Joyce Summerhill of Wynne, AR; 22 grandchildren and 64 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Watts; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and parents.
