Bio
Parents: Mr. Rush I Wynkoop and Mrs. Lillie Mae Austell Wynkoop Leatha spent her childhood at New Liberty Fruita and graduated from Fruita Union High School. She was a former resident of San Manuel, AZ and Dallas, TX and has been a resident of Fruita, CO for the past 80 years. She was a member of the Assemblies of God Church and was a dedicated homemaker to her family. She was happily married to Mr. Harry Nichols Kettle whom she lost on March 24, 2022. Throughout her life, Leatha enjoyed singing in quartet, she taught Sunday school, and was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry, and her parents Rush and Lillie. Survivors include her son, Gaylen Kettle (Nancy) of Fruita, CO and daughter, Susan Jones (Danny) of Fruita, CO; her sister, Leona Bell Justice; 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
