Mary Jane (ROBINSON) TRAHAN was a daughter of John ROBINSON and the former Mary Jane Cooper. Mary Jane Robinson first married James Eaton on April 18, 1889. They were the parents of one daughter, Birty Eaton Dugat, and two sons, Richard and Guy Eaton. Aunt Jane's second marriage was to Henry Trahan on April 12, 1907. No children born in the second marriage. ************************************************************************************* OBITUARY FROM THE LIBERTY VINDICATOR: RITES HELD FOR MRS. TRAHAN, 85 DAYTON -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Trahan, 85, were held Sunday, February 11 at 3 p.m. in the Assembly of God Church with Rev. Varnel Smith, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Edmond Lacey, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial was in Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton under the direction of Allison Funeral Home Service of Dayton. Mrs. Trahan, a life-long resident of Dayton, died late Friday in Dayton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband, Henry Trahan; one daughter, Mrs. Birty Dugat; two sons, R. H. Eaton and Guy Eaton, all of Dayton; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. ************************************************************************************* Mary Jane Robinson Trahan was preceded in death by her parents, John Ervin Robinson and Mary Jane Cooper Robinson; her brothers, W. R. "Dick" Robinson and Monroe Robinson; and her sisters, Susan Elizabeth "Lizzie" Robinson Frazar, Laura Ellen "Sis" Robinson Morris, and Annie Robinson.
