THOMAS ROSE December 20, 1938 - April 29, 2023 U.S. Veteran Thomas Rose, 84, of Ellisville, MS passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at his residence in Ellisville, MS. He was born Tuesday, December 20, 1938 in Ellisville, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home on 1204 B. Ave, Ellisville, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Ellisville Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Ellisville City Cemetery. Bro. Jerry East and Bro. Dwight Smith will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797 Tommy was well known in the community as the town barber. He loved his family dearly and served his country in the United States Army. Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Ruthie Rose; brothers, Jimmy Rose, Joe Rose, Willis Rose, Dan Rose and Martin Rose; great grandchildren, Ashton Hudson and Liam Hudson. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Evon Yarbrough Rose; daughter, Tommie Carol Carr; grandsons, Keith Spicer and Paul Spicer (Alyssa); granddaughter, Mary Hudson (Chad); great grandchildren, Kallen Spicer, Halo Spicer, Thomas Spicer, Jayden Spicer, Isaiah Spicer, Elijah Spicer, Nevaeh Hudson and Madelyn Hudson. Pallbearers will be Keith Spicer, Paul Spicer, Thomas Lambert, Joe Michael Rose, Calvin Rose, and Jared Rose. Honorary pallbearer will be Buster Lambert.
