Laurel Leader Call 20011106 Daniel W. Rose Sr., 59, of Laurel, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Jones County. The Revs. Ralph Graves, Steve Nixon and Ross Patterson will officiate. The owner of First Avenue Curb Store in Laurel, he served in the United States Army. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jones County. He was preceded in death by his father, Gus W. Rose, and one brother, Jimmy Rose. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rose of Laurel; three sons, Daniel Rose Jr. of Laurel, Kenny Rose of Ellisville and David Wayne Rose of Sumrall; two daughters, Donna Carter of Runnelstown and Crystal Rose of Laurel; mother, Ruthie Lambert Rose of Ellisville; four brothers, Joe Rose of Laurel, Buddy Rose and Tommy Rose, both of Ellisville, and Martin Rose of Petal; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Ken Rayner, Billy Sullivan, Billy Ray McCraney Jr., Buddy Lambert, Bryan Lambert and Sam Stewart. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. today, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
