Laurel Leader Call 20030923 Mrs. Ruthie Rose, 90, of Ellisville, died Sept. 22, 2003, at Care Center in Laurel. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Ellisville with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Jones County. The Rev. Steve Nixon and the Rev. Ralph Graves will officiate. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus W. Rose; two sons, James E. Rose and Daniel W. Rose; three sisters, and a brother. Mrs. Rose is survived by four sons. Buddy Rose and Tommy Rose, both of Ellisville, Joe Rose of Laurel and Martin Rose of Lafayette, La.; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be L. D. Stewart, Sam Stewart, Jerry Rose, John Lambert, Benny Lambert and James Lambert. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
