Printed in The Davis News on Dec. 2, 1909 Davis, Oklahoma; Reprinted with permission Married in Texas. Mr. Claud C. Estes came in Sunday evening from Texas, bringing his new bride with him. The young lady's name was Miss Alma Lawlis and she lived at Forestburg, Texas. The couple were married at St. Joe on the 21st, Rev. J. C. Weaver, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Estes will reside in Davis, the groom being associated with his father in the dray business. He is a steady, reliable young man and his bride was one of Forestburg's most estimable young ladies. The News joins in wishing them a long and happy life.
