Benjamin Franklin Lawlis was born on 7 July 1894 at Montague County, Texas. He married Laura Moffatt in 1919, and they had a daughter, Frankie B (McPherson). Benjamin Franklin Lawlis married Polly M. Larmon, daughter of Lewis Erby Larmon and Mantha Orum, on 18 January 1933 at Caddo, Bryan County, Oklahoma. Benjamin Franklin Lawlis died on 16 January 1956 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, at age 61. Benjamin F. Lawlis was the son of Alfred Stephen and Mattie Elizabeth Lawlis and the Grandson of Peter Benton and Sarah Rhodes Lawlis of Arkansas.
