Anna Marsh, age 81 of West, passed away Monday morning, April 16, 2007 at her residence. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West; with Rev. Ed Karasek officiating. Mrs. Marsh was born October 30, 1925 in California and had lived in the West area for the past thirty two years. She married James Marsh, December 18, 1942 in California. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1987. She was also preceded in death by three sons, James Marsh Jr., Florian Daniel Marsh and George Allen Marsh, a granddaughter Cassandra (Candy) Wachsmann, a great-granddaughter Jennelle Boen and a daughter-in-law Debbie Marsh. She is survived by five sons; Edward Marsh, Ralph Marsh and wife Linda and Fred Marsh all of California, Ronald Marsh of West and Steven Marsh and wife Vanisha of Waco; four daughters, Anna Velin of West, Mary Etta Calvert of California, Teresa Bradshaw and husband Monroe of West and Regina Lucien and friend Robby of Waco; a brother, Vincent Smetak and wife Bobbie of Arizona; thirteen grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
