Published in Arizona Daily Star (January 20, 2016): Vincent E. Smetak of Tucson, AZ, unexpectdly passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, at age 81. Beloved husband of 56 years to Bobbie; loving father to Angel and Crystal; stepfather to Chuck and Wayne Harris; grandfather to Terry Gene, Krista, and Brandy; great-grandfather to Cameron, Curtis, and Kayle. Vince was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from the Naval Ship Weapon Systems Engineering Station, Port Hueneme, CA, in 1991. In retirement Vince and Bobbie enjoyed traveling the country in their motorhome and settled in Tucson. He was always dedicated to his wife and children and always willing to help family and friends. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at the Palo Verde Church of Christ in Tucson. Arrangements by Bring's Broadway Chapel.
