+ Johnnie Lou Freeman PARMA - Johnnie Lou Freeman, 81, of Parma, died Sunday, May 11, 1986, in a Caldwell nursing home of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Pastor Frank Prince of the Wilder Free Holiness Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Parma Cemetery. Mrs. Freeman, a homemaker, was born Jan. 23, 1905, at Willow Springs, Mo., a daughter of John and Missouri Turnbull. She married Clarence L. Freeman on Feb. 29, 1920, at Willow Springs. They moved to Parma in 1934 where she had since resided. Mr. Freeman died July 1, 1979. Johnnie had resided at the Caldwell Care Center since January of 1986 where she had been named Mother and Grandmother of the Year for Mother's Day, 1986. She had attended the Wilder Free Holiness Church. Survivors include six daughters, Opal Parker and Dolly Holmes, both of Parma, Lois Holmes of Caldwell, Alma Maggard of Council, and Connie Nash and Janice Nash, both of Monroe, Ore.; eight sons, Amos and Junior, both of Caldwell, Cecil of Melba, Wayne of Monroe, Arnold and Lowell, both of Junction City, Ore., Robert of Swisshome, Ore., and Eugene Freeman of Bellfountain, Ore.; 63 grandchildren; 104 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
