Junior "Toad" Clarence Freeman, 74, of Caldwell died Thursday, June 21, 2007, at home of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 25, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell with burial to follow at Wilder Cemetery, Wilder. Friends may call at Dakan Chapel from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Junior was born on Dec. 19, 1932, at Willow Springs, Mo., to Clarence and Johnnie Turnbull Freeman. He was raised in the Parma-Roswell area. At the age of 19, Junior married his "Sweet Angel" Naomia Storms. Together they made their home in the Parma-Roswell area until Junior was drafted into the Army during the Korean Conflict. After he received an Honorable Discharge, Junior and Naomia made their home in the Caldwell area where they raised their six children. They were married for over 50 years when Naomia passed away in the spring of 2005. Junior worked in the feed service industry until the early 1970s when he purchased his own equipment and became self employed. Junior is survived by his six children, Allen (Perian), Sharon (Dallas), Cathy (Jerry), Randy (Sue), Marilyn (Jay), and Pam; 17 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
