Connie Lavern Nash of Monroe, died June 18, 2018, at the age of 75 years. Connie was one of 15 children born to Clarence and Johnnie Freeman in Caldwell, Idaho. On November 22, 1960, she married the love of her life Howard Ray Nash in Merced, California. Connie worked in Monroe for Monroe Tree Farm for years, was a devoted housewife and mother, and was partners in business with her husband, where she ran the office for 25 years. Her hobbies included camping, hunting, fishing, reading, crocheting, gardening and going for rides in the woods. Connie had five children, Howard Ray Nash Jr (Ann), Rodney, Winstel (Norma), Cyndi Loa (Fa’avae), and Sheila Myers (Harry). When the kids were young, they added Thomas P. Kinkaid to the family. Several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren brought great joy to her life! The love of Connie’s life was her devoted husband, who took care of her right to the end. No one person could have done a better job, with the wonderful support of family. A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on June 24, with a potluck to follow at 3 p.m. at the Nash Residence, 25114 Orchard Tract Road, Monroe. A special "Thank You" to all the Hospice staff, and Steve for your kindness and everything you did for Connie.
