+ Clarence L. Freeman CALDWELL — Services for Clarence L. Freeman, 78, Route 3, Parma, who died Friday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by Pastor Chester Kelly, Fargo Community Church and Pastor Frank Prince, Wilder Holiness Church. Interment will be in Parma Cemetery. He was born Oct. 16, 1900, at Willow Springs, Mo., where he was reared. He worked in the timber industry and sawmills there. He married Johnnie Lou Turnbull on Feb. 29, 1919, at Willow Springs. They moved to Parma in 1934, where he was a blacksmith and general laborer until his retirement in 1962. Surviving are his wife of Parma; six daughters, Dolly Holmes and Opal Parker, both of Parma, Lois Holmes and Alma Maggard, both of Caldwell, and Connie and Janice Nash, both of Monroe, Ore.; eight sons, Arnold, Cecil and Wayne, all of Monroe, Eugene of Alpine, Ore., Robert of Swisshome, Ore., Junior of Caldwell, Amos of Parma, and Lowell of Junction City, Ore.; four sisters, Della Moriss and Molly Freeman, both of Caldwell, and Anis Clinton and Mable Brown, both of Parma; a brother, Harvey Freeman of Parma; 63 grandchildren; and 60 great-grandchildren.
