Mrs. J. H. Wentrcek, pioneer resident of Granger, died in a Taylor hospital Monday at 7:55 A.M. Mrs. Wentrcek was born in Czechoslovakia in 1864. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Emily Martinets, Mrs Fannie Janak, and Mrs. Jerry Lesikar, all of Granger, and Mrs. Valasta Mekolik of Houston; three sons, Ed C. Wentrcek of Granger, John A. Wentrcek of Taylor and Emil A. Wentrcek of Granger; one brother Charlie Simek of Temple. Funeral services will be held at the family residence at Friendship Tuesday at 2 P.M., followed by services at the Czech Moravian church in Granger. Rev. F.J. Kostohryz will officiate. Burial will be in the Machu Cemetery near Granger. Condra funeral home in Taylor is in charge of the arrangements.
